The heat is on, the summer is hot - let's cool down in the North!

First hours of the trip with my husband from Stockholm to Northern Sweden. 1039 km in front of us, 14 hours by the plans.

Midsommar in Farsta, Stockholm

This was my first Midsommar in Sweden. As St. Johannes' Night is celebrated in certain parts of Hungary, I was curious how does it go here in Scandinavian.

Hundreds of people gathered outside of Farsta which is a Southern suburb of Stockholm.

Ring dances around the Majstång which means literally "greened pole," from the old Swedish verb "maja" meaning "to make green."
